On Wednesday, October 17, representatives from the Fairfax County Park Authority briefed members of the Azalea Park Steering Committee and the Greater Hillwood Citizens Association on a revised plan to revitalize Azalea Park.

The improvement plan was designed by the Fairfax County Park Authority relying on feedback from the Azalea Park Steering Committee and inspired by the results of a community survey distributed to the Hillwood community in May 2018.

GHCA Community Meeting Draws a Crowd, Offers Exciting Look at Things to Come

Scores of Greater Hillwood residents gathered at the Kastle Systems complex on Monday evening for the first Greater Hillwood Citizens Association (GHCA) meeting of 2018. Along with some more mundane agenda items including updates on GHCA communications and financials, as well as a vote to increase the dues (from $10 to $15 per year) while decreasing them (from $10 to $5) for retirees in the community, attendees were treated to news of some exciting new developments on the horizon in the Greater Hillwood community.

GHCA Meeting Scheduled for Monday, March 12 at 7PM

The first GHCA community meeting of 2018 has been scheduled for Monday evening at 7PM on March 12.
